The Hotel Condor is perfect for a ski break in South Tyrol. The “Erta” World Cup black run is practically right outside the door. If there’s a ski race taking place, you can almost watch it from your hotel room! You can also have your own skiing adventure in St. Vigil. You can store your equipment in the hotel's private ski room or in one of the private ski lockers right by the lift.

Kronplatz is one of the most popular mountains for skiing in all of South Tyrol. It is only a 5-minute walk from the Hotel Condor and is part of Dolomiti Superski. Thanks to its high altitude, it has guaranteed snow that lasts well into spring....

Kronplatz is one of the most popular mountains for skiing in all of South Tyrol. It is only a 5-minute walk from the Hotel Condor and is part of Dolomiti Superski. Thanks to its high altitude, it has guaranteed snow that lasts well into spring. There are 32 lifts here, as well as two museums, Lumen and MMM Corones, and there is the Concordia 2000 Peace Bell on the summit plateau.

Kronplatz is the perfect spot for combining culture and fun on your skis. Additionally, the ski resort has a freeride park for snowboarders and freestyle skiers, as well as a big choice of professional ski schools. The black run known as the "Erta" – a very steep descent that is a regular venue for World Cup races – leads directly to St. Vigil and thus to the Hotel Condor. Not particularly fond of the black slopes? Worry not, for the Kronplatz boasts a diverse array of slopes catering to every skill level imaginable! Our hotel is conveniently situated near the 'Miara' run, classified as 'blue' in terms of difficulty.

Experience a true skiing adventure! A trip to the Sellaronda is one of the most popular ski excursions in the world. Within a day, you can circumnavigate the impressive and magnificent Sella massif – a mighty community of Dolomite crags. On the Sellaronda, you can also experience a piece of history. Afterwards, not only will you be able to write another amazing chapter in your diary, but you will also have gained new knowledge about a long-gone era. During World War I, the fighting even reached the mountains, and as you pass by, you can still see the trenches that were carved from the rock today. The Sellaronda is also part of Dolomiti Superski and can be reached from the Hotel Condor without a car.

A winter break in St. Vigil is like nothing you have ever experienced before – thanks to South Tyrol's geography! Steep slopes, high mountains, and snow as far as the eye can see create a unique winter wonderland.

Get a taste of the oldest winter sport! While tobogganing, you'll experience a true South Tyrolean winter tradition. The sled and the sleigh were used by the farmers to bring hay from the mountain to the valley in winter, and children have always had fun in the snow! We'd be happy to provide you with information about the most beautiful toboggan trips. Sleigh rides with horse-drawn carriages or huskies are also part of the offerings here!

Our 23 km long trail in St. Vigil leads to Pederü and offers many enjoyable hours of cross-country skiing as well as the opportunity to take lessons. We will be happy to provide you with details of different hiking trails or guided tours in the Dolomites.
